Stone Skull & Spine
In late 2024, I visited The Elephant Rocks in New Zealand’s Canterbury Region. This open, unevenly terrained, grassy field is full of gigantic, dull coloured boulders and rocks which look similar to old bones. For bouldering enthusiasts the area is very popular spot. While exploring the location, I discovered a composition which reminded me of the Elephant Graveyard scene from The Lion King.
