Tim Bachmann
I first met Tim at the beginning of the Oceanian Summer, which falls in November 2024, during our shared daytime job in the picturesque town of Queenstown, New Zealand. Tim, a sponsored athlete courtesy of Clano, is a highly skilled professional and competitive mountain biker who hails from Germany. Over the course of his impressive career, Tim has traveled extensively across Europe, performing his awe-inspiring stunts at various competitions. He has successfully amassed thousands of dedicated followers and garnered millions of views across his social media platforms, where he regularly showcases his impressive skills and vlogs his ongoing learning process. This summer, he made the journey to Queenstown, New Zealand to fully immerse himself in the World Adrenaline Capital's world-famous Mountain Biking Parks, including notable venues such as Wynyard Jump Park, The Queenstown Bike Park, and Coronet Peak Bike Park. I had the distinct pleasure of working alongside Tim at the Wynyard Bike Park when he approached me with a request for some new, vibrant photographs that he could use for his social media presence and personal website.
Tim's enthusiasm for mountain biking is infectious, and his dedication to the sport is evident in every aspect of his work. We spent hours capturing dynamic shots of him navigating challenging terrains and executing breathtaking jumps. The energy at the park was palpable, and it was inspiring to witness a professional at the top of his game.
