Even my own mother commissioned me for a professional headshot. With great enthusiasm, she has recently ventured into the world of life coaching as a side hustle, alongside her regular remote job in public relations. My task was to provide headshots specifically for her website, which was an assignment I found quite enjoyable. All of the images were taken at home, which added a personal touch to the project. My bedroom was the only space available in the entire house that was large enough to accommodate for the shoot. After rearranging my bedroom furniture to create enough space, I transformed it into a makeshift home studio that served our purpose well. Despite having limited resources at my disposal, I employed the power of the sun to capture only a few shots that she was truly satisfied with. Although I lacked professional white lighting, I utilised my knowledge of Lightroom editing to ensure the final images had a polished and professional appearance that met both her expectations and mine.
