Who am I?

Born and raised in London, England I grew up surrounded by creativity. In school I was always a visual learner with a keen eye for the arts, film and media industry. During my time as a Film student, I lived in Brighton and Hove.

One day I was in the North Lanes helping my housemate look for a birthday gift for her partner. We visited a very well known thrift shop called ‘Snoopers Paradise.’ This thrift shop is a glorified time capsule. Amongst their vast aisles of history. I discovered a display of preloved film cameras and vintage film rolls. I eagerly purchased a Cold War Era West German camera called the ‘Praktica TL-5B’. It was then and there my film photography passion began. That day, I bought myself my first camera, the Praktica TL-5B and paired it with a two hundred millimeter lens. Unknowingly, it was the least practical to choose from.

Ever since then, I have collected, traded, and tested a wide range of analogue cameras. I have burnt through hundreds of film rolls, experimented with different film stocks, learning more and more about this incredible style of photography. My website portfolio is a testament of my learning and development as an artist over the years. Each section denotes my very fortunate experiences travelling around the world.

When I graduated from the University of Sussex, my grandmother gifted me a grant which I used to purchase my very own camera and equipment. I opted for the Sony A7iii and some box lenses. I give credit to my University degree for providing previous experience with the model. Since graduating, I have freelanced on multiple projects across the country working with camera teams as a First / Second Camera Assistant, Best Boy, Runner and Spark.

Having relocated to New Zealand, creating a Photography Book is my next goal. I dream of exhibiting my work around the world.
